TEACHING & LEARNING FACILITIES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS

1.  Smart class rooms with Wi-Fi connectivity

The classes are conducted in smart class rooms established with UGC X fund from Govt. of India. Each class room is equipped with LCD Projector and Smart board worth INR 1Lakh approx.

2. Central Computing facility

Department of Electronics is maintaining a Central Computing facility in the College. This can be accessed by the students to do their projects and also to practice modern software. This laboratory consists of over 15 working computers in  Ubuntu and Windows platforms. This laboratory is fully air conditioned using UGC XI plan period financial assistance.

3. Electronics laboratory with state of the art equipments

The electronics laboratory in this department is equipped with all latest analog and digital measuring equipments and components procured using UGC and plan fund of Govt. of Kerala. The laboratory is equipped for conducting analog circuit, digital circuit, communication, microprocessor and embedded system based experiments. We have got an array of latest digital CROs and function generators in our laboratory. Major equipments are listed below. This laboratory can also be used for doing final year project work of our students.

4.  Physics Laboratory

Our Physics laboratory has got all equipments required for the smooth conduct of physics practical classes.

5.   Research Journal/Periodical Collections

Our faculty members have collected several International Journals for establishing an open research journal collection in the department. This can be accessed by students for reference.

6.   Scanner and Printers

The Department possesses high quality digital printers and scanners which are accessible to the faculty as well as the students. They ensure speedy completion of project reports, hand-outs and facilitates preservation of important data.

7.   Sound System with cordless Microphone

The Department owns a sound system with collar microphones and cordless microphones which are used to enhance the acoustics of the classrooms. They offer students opportunities to embellish the grandeur of the department level programmes and reduce stage fear. Students are given opportunity to handle and learn the technicalities of the system and it improves their confidence level.
