Received Ph.D  in Electronics from Centre for Research in Electromagnetics & Antennas (CREMA), Cochin University of Science & Technology under the guidance of Prof. Mohanan Pezholil. After my thesis I joined as Post doctoral researcher at University Paris Est Marne la Vallee, France. I also worked as Scientist in the French Telecommunication company Axess Europe SAS, Toulouse, France as permanent employee (Contract Duration Indeterminée). After that job I joined as Senior Antenna Engineer in Power Wave Technologies R&D India Pvt. Ltd.

Since 2011, I have been working as a faculty member of Department of Electronics, Government College Mananthavady, Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala, India, and currently serving as Head of the department. 

I received URSI International young Scientist Award from Belgium in the year 2005 for my research achievements and was invited to Rashtrapathi Bhavan by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the then President of India. I am also serving as reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE USA and IET UK. I am currently serving as Chairman, Board of Studies (UG&PG) Kannur University, Chairman Board of Examiners (Electronics) Kannur University, and Member, BoS in Electronics, M.G University.

I am an active HAM radio operator having valid licence (Call Sign: VU2EMR) from Department of Telecommunication, Government of India to establish, operate and maintain Amateur wireless Telegraph station, and involved in various disaster management activities during Kerala Flood 2018, Mullapperiyar Dam Crisis and Lathur earthquake.

    Community Extension Activities

    ·         Established and operated a ham radio Emergency wireless station at Chalakkudy RDO camp office. This wireless link played a pivotal role in search and rescue operation and mitigated the mobile phone network black out at chalakkudy during Kerala flood 2018.

    ·         Operated a HAM radio emergency communication station at Taluk office, Kunnamkulam to connect Taluk officials to Thrissur District collectorate Control room during Kerala Flood 2018.

    ·         Operated a mobile VHF station at Meloor, Chalakkudy to trace 500 mentally challenged inmates and 20 orphans trapped at Divine centre, Meloor, Chalakkudy.  We have successfully traced them and supplied food and medicines. This mission helped Government to further air drop foods and materials
