INFLIBNET INFLIBNET (Information and Library Network Centre) is an autonomous Inter-University Centre of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Govt. of India. INFLIBNET is involved in modernizing and automating university libraries in India and the optimum utilization of information. INFLIBNET is set out to be a major player in promoting scholarly communication among academicians and researchers in India. Development of Union databases of Indian University Libraries is one of the major activities of INFLIBNET. One of the important Database developed by INFLIBNET is THESES Database, which is available online (free) at https://www.inflibnet.ac.in. Theses database of INFLIBNET has over one and half lakh records of the doctoral dissertations submitted to the Indian universities in all disiplines.The bibliographical details like researcher, title of the thesis, guides), university name, department name, subjects), year of award etc are provided. This is the only one online tool available to find out the research out put of Indian Universities. This data has been contributed by the universities and does not cover the abstracts at present.
